Conveniently located near Downtown Mount Clemens, Cityoga Room offers a variety of yoga class styles for all levels, including Yoga Flow, Hot Vinyasa, Beginners Yoga, Lunchtime Vinyasa, Intro to Ashtanga, Intermediate Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Kid’s Yoga, Parent-Child and Yin Gong Yoga. In addition to classes, Cityoga Room offers a variety of Yoga Workshops and private one-on-one sessions.

  1. Beginners Yoga
    An introduction to the vinyasa yoga practice. Class is conducted at a slower pace than an all-levels vinyasa flow, and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment.
  2. Hot Vinyasa
    Hot Vinyasa Yoga is performed in a heated room (85-90 degrees) because of the benefits such heat offers the body.Class is suited for all ability levels, although familiarity with yoga postures and exposure to basic flow yoga sequences is recommended and encouraged.
  3. Lunchtime Vinyasa
    An introduction to the vinyasa style and incorporates fundamental yoga postures into the sun salutation, moving at a slow, steady pace to help participants become accustomed to the flow. A strong emphasis on developing steady breathing.
  4. Yin Yoga
    Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues, the tendons, fascia and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
  5. Reiki Group Healing
    Is really a wonderful experience because everyone who is participating in it will bring one project or goal or intention that they want to manifest in reality and everyone present in the group healing session will send Reiki to heal the person, issue or situation.
  6. Vinyasa Flow Yoga
    Vinyasa Flow is for those wanting to experience a physically slower paced class. We will be holding postures, focusing on our breath, increase flexibility, strength, and stamina, Vinyasa calms the mind and improves overall health.
  7. Kids Yoga
    Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, breathing, and basic anatomy.
  8. Parent-Child Yoga
    In this class for families of toddlers, we’ll perform poses, songs, and games while little ones explore new movement and social skills. Parents fully participate in class, but no yoga experience or yoga mat is required. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to move.
  9. Yin Gong Yoga
    In this class for families of toddlers, we’ll perform poses, songs, and games while little ones explore new movement and social skills. Parents fully participate in class, but no yoga experience or yoga mat is required. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to move.
  10. Intro to Ashtanga
    These classes are for anyone who has the desire to learn yoga. The Ashtanga sequences make it easy for students to develop a personal practice and give a fundamental understanding that can be applied to all yoga.
  11. Intermediate Ashtanga
    This is a moderate to fast-paced class focusing on ujjayi breath and vinyasa movement. Students complete Sun Salutations with traditional Sanskrit counting, the entirety of the Standing Sequence, and a sampling of the seated sequence.
